Why is the server down?

Hey i just wanted to know why the server down is if its already posted somewhere im sorry i didnt find it if anyone knows for how long it will be down please tell me cause i got to do some chores and i dont want to wait here till i gotta do them so i could do them instead right away and play when server is up again.
btw if there is a link which shows when server is up and down please post it thanks

try to vote and if l2 game server is offline u would get this message:
L2TwilighT is offline . You cannot vote for an offline server !
so u can use this workaround if u are too lazzy to start game client.
